The Big School Sleepover – Tullamore College Adventure Journey | Gaisce Stories
Equal Access for All: Keeping the Adventure Journey Costs Down In April last year, Tullamore College students undertook their Gaisce Adventure Journey with a twist – an overnight sleep in the school. While Covid-19 restrictions were gradually being lifted throughout the 2021-2022 academic year, the President Award Leaders at Tullamore College were still concerned that certain aspects of the Adventure Journey may be affected. Given the prices of looking towards other organisations to host students for the Adventure Journey, and the potential for cancellation, the PAL’s decided to organise the Adventure Journey with their own school, Tullamore College, as
European Parliament Competition Winners – Terence MacSwiney Community College
Video Submission Gaisce, in partnership with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland is delighted to announce that Terence MacSwiney Community College in Knocknaheeney in Cork were the deserving winners of the trip to Strasbourg for Euroscola, which will take place on March 30th. Euroscola brings together 16–18-year-old students from all 27 EU Member States and allows them to get together, debate, take sides, negotiate, amend, vote and finally adopt resolutions on real European issues.
