Programme Breakdown
Gaisce Participants can use reading for their Personal Skill Challenge Area. The Children’s Books Ireland Reading Challenge is not just about improving your reading skills; it’s a chance to read for joy and fun and to immerse yourself in new worlds and stories!
You can spread the love of reading among your community by becoming a mentor and engaging in the Children’s Books Ireland’s Buddy Reading programme for your Community Involvement Challenge Area.
Gaisce Participants can also sign up to take part in the Junior Juries programme and cast your vote for the Book of the Year Awards, alongside the official judges.
