About

Code Club is a global community of free clubs where young people develop the skills and confidence to become digital tech creators.
Code Clubs offer a space for young people of all ages and experience levels to develop a deeper understanding of technology. Code Clubs are held in community venues such as schools and libraries and are run by educators and volunteers, with support and resources from the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Challenge Area Activities

Personal Skill:
Use Code Club as your Gaisce Personal Skill and set yourself a digital making goal. You could learn a programming language, build a game or website, or complete a series of creative projects.
No previous coding experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and start creating. Create a Scratch animation, build a Python game, design a website, or explore artificial intelligence.
As you code, you’ll develop problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence, and resilience. Young people aged 18 or under can also share their work through Coolest Projects, a free annual showcase for young digital creators.

Programme Breakdown

Can’t find a Code Club nearby? Encourage your school, library, community centre, or other local community venue to start one. Code Club provides free projects, training, and resources to help club leaders start and run their clubs, so club organisers do not need any coding experience to get involved.
