About
Teen-Turn aims to provide teen girls, particularly those from underserved areas, the opportunity to gain hands-on STEM experience so that they can visualise themselves in those kinds of careers and therefore make third-level course choices accordingly. Through after-school activities, work placements, mentoring, and alumnae networking and career development programming, they have supported 1500+ girls from Junior Cert to Job.
Challenge Area Activities
Personal Skill
Participate in the Project Squad after-school programme and complete a project; brainstorming, cover research methodology, project management, experimentation/data collection and results reporting. (Autumn)
Community Involvement
Participate in the Technovation after-school programme and deliver a service to your community through technology, solving a problem within your community. (Spring and Winter)
