Achievements of young people from across Ireland celebrated at Gaisce Silver Award Ceremonies
Gaisce held two Silver Award Ceremonies in October 2018 to celebrate the achievements of young people from across Ireland. Over 180 young people were honoured at the Silver Award Ceremonies which took place in Cork and Dublin. The first ceremony took place at the Aula Maxima, UCC in Cork on Wednesday 10th October 2018. Evelyn Dore is from Tralee and is a Gaisce Gold Awardee who recently set up her own volunteer project called ‘Memory Boxes’. “The project started off as wanting to source pictures for older people in the community.
